Direction was established in June of 2017. They hired two employees in March of 2018. One of those employees is the agency's COO/CI currently. The agency offers careers within a small business setting, where your voice is heard and nobody is treated as just another number. In order to maintain the agency's integrity there will be limited growth. Their clients come first and having the ability to be personally familiar with each case is one of the many reasons this agency stands out. Everyone receives a birthday and holiday card. The owner of the agency hosts free social events throughout the year, for staff and clients. The owner attends these events and utilizes the opportunity to get to know each attending client.  They have attended hockey and baseball games, bowling, magic shows, horseback riding, Safari Farm and Petting Zoo and Spirited Art, to name a few. The agency owner also hosts smaller events for playing board and card games, small group outdoor get together and holiday activity groups. Directions team is treated with respect and shown appreciation. The team has celebrated the holidays in NYC enjoying the Christmas Spectacular while transported via limo. They have also gone to salt caves, had a spa day, experienced an escape room, went to a penguin encounter and the agency has rented campgrounds for the team. This past year they rented the Electric City Aquarium, hired a catering company and a DJ for staff and families. Staff have been gifted AAA memberships, car detailing as well as car maintenance to name a few of the benefits that the team has received. Being a Limited Liability Company, Direction is able to donate to other organizations throughout the year. Such as Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, Destin Animal Shelter, Make A Wish Foundation, Trinity Church, YMCA, Toys for Tots and Paws for A Cause are just a few of the organizations donated to.  When the agency sponsors or donates to an event or organization they try to be involved physically as well as financially. The team encourages our clients to get involved as well, several donated their time ringing the bell for the Salvation Army around the holidays. Annually the team and clients gather to shop for food which is later donated to Catholic Social Services for their annual Thanksgiving drive where our administration staff donates their time for the day.  Direction host a low sensory photo with Santa annually free for the community.
