Community Based Instruction (CBI)
Community Based Instruction allows individuals to develop skills in real world setting to help better prepared students transitioning into adulthood. CBI is a mixture of task analyzed, by the agency and support team to create the most effective learning methods on an individual basis. Tasks are broken down into simple steps with repetition to allow students to learn gradually. Through our program students should develop improvement in education, employment skills, money management, community participation, safety awareness while working with a strong a support system. These goals can be curated based on the needs of the individual to create a program which will benefit them the most.
